Ron’s reports sought to uncover the poor condition of L.A.’s infrastructure while his leadership dramatically increased the amount of money L.A. used for street repairs in neighborhoods throughout the city.

His groundbreaking report found the city was not recovering enough revenue to fix L.A.’s streets after undergoing cuts from utility companies, resulting in more $100 million for Angelenos to improve street conditions. The State Controller serves on several boards that oversee bond issuance and tax credit allocation to fund major infrastructure improvements in California. Just as he did in L.A., Ron will hold contractors and agencies accountable to deliver projects on time and on budget.
