Galperin Secures Support From State, Local Leaders

LOS ANGELES – L.A. Controller Ron Galperin today announced the endorsements of an impressive group of leaders who represent millions of Californians in local and state offices. Controller Galperin’s supporters noted his experience, transparency and ability to get the job done, a hallmark of his eight years doing the job of Controller in Los Angeles. Fresh off his support from State Controller Betty Yee, Galperin announced that Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, state Sen. Ben Allen, Los Angeles County Assessor Jeffrey Prang, Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman, Los Angeles City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, Former Assemblymember Christy Smith, former Executive Director of Equality California Rick Chavez Zbur, and former Los Angeles Councilmember and Former General Manager City of the Los Angeles Economic & Workforce Development Department Jan Perry, have all lent their support.

Growing Momentum for State Controller Race

The son of immigrants and of a Holocaust survivor, Galperin is L.A.’s first Citywide-elected LGBTQ official. As L.A.
